10. Hip Hop and Rap Hip Hop is a Music Culture that started in the 1970’s and is commonly based on the concepts of rapping, ‘free styling’, mixing, beat boxing and scratching. In this sub-culture, people use this type of music to express politics concerns of personal issues, politics and society. In terms of fashion, they wear skinny jeans, dunks, designer shades and glasses; they may be stereotyped as being ‘nerds’. A example of a jerk group would be ‘The Bangz’.
