The gun is representative of gang
culture and violence that is
stereotypical within the hip hop genre.
The pose suggests she is blowing the
smoke from the barrel as if she has just
shot the gun. The pose with the facial
expression has sexual connotations.
This is also common with female hip
hop artists as they always have sexual
appeal towards their audience. The
direct eye contact supports this. The
low angle suggests that she is a
dominant character and that she is in
control of her situation. The gold
jewellery is also common within the
genre.
