1. Male hip hop stars… On my double page spread I have decided to have a male hip hop star, for this I have asked a peer to pose as a celebrity on the cover of my magazine. Having chosen the hip hop genre I have had to research and take in to consideration the types of clothes male hip hop stars wear… Male hip hop stars usually wear caps on their heads, these stars are a form of free advertising for these caps as people who are in to hip hop will by the hats to be like their stars. Designer Jackets, t-shirts and tops, again these stars are a form of free advertising for these products. They usually wear designer brands, again this is a form of for the brands as people will then wear the same brands worn by the stars. Baggy designer Jeans Designer trainers

2. Having taken in to consideration the clothing of the male featured in my magazine, I had to think about how I would like my star to be portrayed. To do this I thought about the way in which my star would pose and his body language. Hip hop stars usually pose in ways that reflect their persona therefore I wanted my star to pose in what would be referred to as a “cool” way. Also they usually look quite serious and rarely smile therefore I do not want my model to be smiling. The stars also seem quite lose and look like they are not really bothered, I would like my model to portray this sort of image.

3. What my male hip hop star will wear… My male hip hop Star will wear the designer brand Henleys as Henley’s is a designer brand I like and tend to wear a lot. He will wear baggy jeans and Adidas trainers.
