You can't trust anyone, not even family

Notas del editor

  1. [2] The title for our film will be called The Sinner and the genre we have set this is Murder Mystery.
  2. [2] We decided to rate out film Rated 15 due to the fact that our film will contain strong language and violence.[1] Although the audience won’t see the victim being killed, there will be a lot of blood (fake blood) and it will contain strong language, not enough to make it an 18 but more than what is in a 12.
  3. [1] For the Target Audience:As I said before we decided to set this film for ages 15 and up.Who interest in the topics Crime and Mystery. This is applied for anyone that likes to read books or film for that matter.[2]We also decided that the target groups would be from both genders. Male and Female.Which also targets all ethnic groups.[1]Since we are quite limited with the location, we will be filming in the UK in Cambridge. We predict that the salary would be around 12K due to our target audience which would theoretically be unemployed.
  4. [2] The story of the film is about a man who gets murdered for something he did not do by someone he thought he trusted[1] As the story unfolds we find out who killed him out of lots of suspects, the least expected by the audience is the murderer (that’s what we’re aiming for anyway!)
  5. What are we going to see?[1] These are some of the key shots in our opening sequence Establishing shot – see where the film is set Long shot, low angle – RIP board Close up, high angle – smashed piano[2] Long shot – Queen Edith Pub, slow zoom into mid shot Close up – voltage gate, slow zoom into extreme close up of the danger sign High angle – rubbish bags round the back of the pub
  6. [1] Since the opening does not have a dialogue, we thought that we should use different types of camera techniques to help the audience to conclude of what has happened in the opening sequence. [1] Using High and Low Angle shots. –To demonstrate the power between two characters.[2] POV Shots – To show the audience that we are reminiscing of what has occurred.[1]Arc Shot – To let the audience see the murder scene and its surrounding.[2] Dolly Shot to Cut-in Shot along with the follow shot – Follow a certain action and hints to the audience that there is a murder.
  7. [1] Since our protagonist is a young male, his costume will be a tracksuit or sports kit – he could be wearing headphones and have a bounce to his walk[2] We have got our forensic all-in-ones and our private detectives will be wearing suits
  8. [[1] We want to use similar credits to those in Se7enWe are planning on using similar camera shots from all of the films (high angle, low angle, zoom, close up) We don’t want to use handheld camera work like in Zombielandbecause it doesn’t look very professional and it isn’t necessary in our opening sequence
  9. [2] Any question?
