General Information
   The first educational non-profit national organization
   Started as an idea in 1999
   Have been planning to be build since 2003
    It was established in 2007
   The official opening : SQU : 5/March/2010
   It is currently located in Muscat specifically at Arab Open
    University in sultan Qaboos city, but its zone of activities cover
    the entire Sultanate as its members are from all regions of the
    Sultanate of Oman.
Vision
 The vision of OSET is to…

 advance educational technology in Oman…
 by developing strategies of educational technology…
 through utilization of technical skills and resources…
 of governmental, private educational organizations,
 and experts in the field of educational technology.
Goals
OSET aims are to:
 Conduct research
 Develop education
 provide service
 Support scholars
 Increase awareness
 Establish locally and globally relations
Activities

 Exchanging experiences
 Issuing newsletters
 Training workshops
 Researches and studies
 Building electronic database
 Establishing public lectures
 and conferences. e.g.:

  The priority is given to Omanis and specialist from gulf
   countries
  Other Arabs should provided their service in Oman and
   Gulf states if they want to be a member in OSET
  You must have interest in learning and serving the field
   of educational technology
  Your age must not be less than 18 years old
