●Grade: 6th grade
●Lesson time (15 minutes):
1. Greeting
First, students in your group introduce themselves.
Student: “Hello. My name is ~~.”
Teacher: “Hello. My name is~~.”
2. Small game
(1).Questions to the student
Right after you tell your name to a student, please ask the question “What do you want to be?”
The student will choose one of the words from the table below.
teacher florist baker
policeman fireman designer
chef pastry chef doctor
beautician musician cartoonist
The student will have this table.
(2). Once the student finishes answering, the student will ask the same question to you. You will
answer the question choosing a word from the table as well.
“I want to be a ~.”
(3). Repeat (1) and (2) until the time runs out
2. ex.
You: What do you want to be?
Student: I want to be a doctor.
Student: What do you want to be?
You: I want to be a teacher.
Student: Thank you.
You: Thank you.
*Students will be playing bingo and your replies will be their answers, so please try to give
different answers.
*Make sure you use the exact same sentences as above.
*If students are having hard time understanding your answer, you can help them by using
gestures.

*During the lesson, keep repeating the same process, even if you have already finished the
whole flow with the same student. Also, stick strictly to the manual, because students’
vocabularies are limited. Don’t ask them to do/say something, but just follow the lesson flow and
remember to praise the students as encouragement. You can also use the following phrases, if
you were unable to understand the student.
1. Sorry?
2. Please wait for a moment.
3. Please speak more slowly.
4. Please type it.
*Also, the students will call you to start the lesson, so please wait in front of the computer until
they call you.
