Q: What is SPF?
A: Sun Protection Factor
Q: How much SPF should
I have in my sunscreen?
A: At least SPF 15, which blocks 93% of UV rays.
Q: When should I to apply sunscreen?
A: 15 minutes before going outside.
Q: When should I reapply sunscreen?
A: At least every 2 hours.
Q: What is broad-spectrum?
A: Protect the skin from some UVA rays

10. Sunscreens or Sunblocks?
Sunscreens use chemicals (avobenzone or
benzophenone) that filter and reduce the
penetration of UV radiation on your skin.
Sunblocks contain chemicals (titanium
dioxide or zinc oxide) to block out the UV
radiation.
Waterproof is sunscreen that continues to
block at the same SPF after 80 minutes of
water exposure.
Water-resistant is sunscreen that
continues to block at the same SPF after
40 minutes of water exposure.
