Chapter 3.25 of the Omega Legacy - and trust me, there are dates galore!

1. The Omega Legacy Chapter 3.25 “You could call it a Dream Date!”

2. Before we go to the main Omega household, I thought we’d have a quick look at how Corbin is settling in to uni – and also to look at potential loversforthe boys. I found this girl…smustling. I think her name is Arianna, and she is quite pretty – when she isn’t pulling this face! The dorm is mainly girls – I think there are 2 other boys, as well as Corbin. Lucky boys!

3. “So, coffee?” “Keeps you going through university, it does. That way, you can stay up all night writing your term paper. Or other people’s term papers too.” Corbin went to the University Coffee Shop – I was hoping I could find some members of the secret society, but because they were all in their outerwear, I couldn’t actually tell.

4. “Erm, Ally? There’s a cow flirting…” “Oh baby – I love that rain mac on you!” “And I love your udders!” o.O Worrying, especially considering that cow is a guy called Christopher…

5. Back in the (slightly more sane) main Omega household, the romance sims are looking for, well, romance! “I’m looking for someone blonde and positively gorgeous. Do you think you could find someone for me?” “Name your price, young man.”

6. “Have £5000, I want a girl that is perfect for me!” “Hmm…well, I’ll see what I can do dear boy. Get myself a date with money like this I think, but let’s see…” (They have so much money through their inheritance from grandparents, and various promotions…)

7. “So, Calvin, that’s a nice name. I always thought my name, Vamsi, was quite an odd name. But all your family have quite weird names. What did you say your twin was called? Cody?” “…Boobies.” Typical romance sim. The date ended as “Good” I think.

8. “Oh, I’m just a love machine, feeding my fantasy, give me a kiss or three…” Pleased by any chance? “Oh yeah. When I’m an underwear model, or a professional party guest (his LTW), I’ll have lots more girls like Vamsi flocking around me… Oh, I can’t wait! I’m just a love machine…”

9. And in the middle of the night, Vamsi came along and dropped off a present for Calvin. It was a pot plant. Cause that’s a really great present after having a nice date. “Well, what can I say? I’m great at choosing presents, aren’t I? Hehe.” It’s called sarcasm. “Oh. Teehee. What’s sarcasm?”

10. “Hey Ally. Whatcha doing?” I’m still on the hunt for the nose that the kids have. I think they might have your nose… “You’re still on the hunt for the turned up nose? That was a chapter ago Ally.” I take my time *mutters*

11. With her parents busy most of the time, Clover needs to learn how to make a muffin in the easy bake oven. “So, I put how much of this mixture in? Right, that’s sorted. And now I leave it in the oven for 5 minutes. That’s easy enough!”

12. “Oh no! Five minutes was too long! Don’t look brothers, I can’t even make a perfect muffin. I knew I should have picked up that penny I saw yesterday – then today would be a lucky day!”

13. “Here we go round the lady bird house, The lady bird house, The lady bird house…” Just a summer’s dance in the garden. Lovely.

14. Clover’s really pretty, and extra cute in her school uniform. “I hope a black cat doesn’t walk in front of me today, otherwise I might burn another muffin, and then no one would want to be my friend – not even Marsha! And she wants to be everyone’s friend.” Have you even met Marsha? “The word at my school is that she’s in a special school, undergoing tests for OCD!”

15. And here’s Calvin, strutting his romance sim stuff.

16. Like we can’t guess what you and Benji do as soon as the kids go off to school.

17. After tending his plot (just wearing his underpants), Benjamin managed to get his gold gardening badge, and now he can talk to plants. Which is quite sweet, but also slightly odd at the same time. “I have to talk to the plants, they comfort me when I tell them how my daddy never even knew I existed… Daddy!”

18. “She loves me. And she even sent this heavily scented letter to prove it. Oh, it must have been a good date. My head feels funny…”

19. And we say hello to the first simself to appear in the legacy – this is Kiwi, and she writes the amazing Nervous Subject Legacy, and the Fashion Legacy. They’re really good.

20. And like all the guests we invite into the house, she rushes off to the piano, expecting tips. No one ever tips anyone in this house. Sorry Kiwi.

21. “Are you sure she’s the one for me?” The matchmaker drops Solveig from the sky, to be the date for Caspian.

22. “Yay! This legacy boy is hot! Hello sweetie-pie, how you doing?” Matchmaker: “Perhaps if I drop my crystal ball on her head, she’ll stop talking like that…”

23. “Just look at the menu, she’ll think of something to say. She can talk first, what if I say the wrong thing?” “Keep reading, he’ll think of something to say. You’ll look desperate if you say something first.” *awkward silence*

24. “You’re a wonderful dancer Caspian. And you’re eyes are absolutely mesmerising…” “Why, thank you beautiful. Sol – I truly think you’re wonderful.”

25. A sweet peck on the lips to end the date. Cute.

26. “Oh Calvin, you’re lips are so soft. Not like that guys I kissed last night.” “Sorry?” “Not like that fish I ate last night. Hehehe.”

27. Hey Artie, how’s it hanging? “Fine thank you, I’m just on the look out for something…”

28. “Woooot! It’s my bed, my lovely bed that me and Lily shared, the bed we had woohoo in, the bed we made our children in!” Actually, we left that bed at the old house. “What?” Nothing, nothing. I was just kidding. You go back to cheering the bed and reading books, and don’t go scaring anyone.

29. “Roses? You smell like roses? You’ve been on a date, haven’t you Caspian!?” “So what if I have? Argh!” “You’re not allowed!” “But I wanted some romance, some candles, some dancing. Can you not understand that?” “But I want a date…” Cody has 8 nice points! Sibling rivalry much?

30. “You want me to do what?!”

31. “Oh, very big.” Guys – keep it PG13 please! “Don’t be rude! I was talking about his shoes!” Oh…heh, course you were.

32. This is pretty sweet. You’d never have guessed that they were two romance sims. *facepalm*

33. “Calvin, does your dad normally walk around in just his underwear?” “Yeah, he’s probably been sleeping, cause he works at night.” “I might have to come round to your house more often. Hehe.”

34. Everyone else sat down at the table inside, but Cody picked up a plate of food from the table, and went and sat at the table outside in the rain. “I want a date.” Are you still sulking about that? “Yes.” But your brothers are romance sims, you’re a knowledge sim… “Doesn’t mean I don’t have urges too.” … “Exactly.”

35. This is the face she pulled after Calvin kissed her. “Maybe that guy the other night was better.”

36. And then when Calvin went to bed, she watched him whilst he heart-farted about her in his sleep. Nothing odd about that.

37. Felicity finally got her gold badge in flower arranging, which means we can have snapdragons! I think I’m going to put them all around the house, so everyone is happy, all of the time!

38. No. Nope. Definitely not. Don’t even think about it.

39. “Now, little strawberry plant, if you don’t grow big and strong, then I’m going to need to compost you, and recycle you – and you would turn into mush and help another little strawberry plant grow. Would you like that?” “…” “No, I didn’t think so.”

40. “Goodbye Ms Bus Driver. I’m sorry for making you swerve out the way of those men carrying that huge mirror. But if you’d broken it, you would have got bad luck, and I really don’t want that to happen. Have a nice evening Ms Bus Driver.”

41. “Mum, Dad! I got an A+ at school! Hooray! Look at me! I’m wonderful!” I’m glad they took notice of her pretty much straight away, otherwise the A+ happy dance would have gone on for hours!

42. “A kiss for this beautiful lady.” “Caspian, you’re too nice for a romance sim. I want a bad boy. I’m sorry.”

43. “Maybe a pretty girl at university will like my loving, romantic ways. Bye mum, bye dad, I’m off to college.”

44. “I think I just heard a car door honey.” “Felicity, you just keep rocking out on that guitar! Cause you are smoking. Looking at you makes me want to have more babies…” No.

45. I love the items that come with seasons – like the juicer. Fliss is having freshly squeezed apple juice. Yummy.

46. Cody brought this girl home from school, so I agreed with him that if he made friends with her, they could have a date. “So, I erm…I like your dress. You look really pretty in it. It doesn’t make you look fat like other girls do.” “Erm…thank you.” That’s the way to charm a girl!

47. “That strawberry looks nice and ripe…” Isn’t she just adorable? I keep following her round with the camera – this is because she has four older brothers, and I wanted a girl!

48. Over at Academie le Tour… Caspian had moved into college, and was already starting to hit on the placeholder – they actually had 2 bolts! I – or he – wasn’t going to let this opportunity go a miss. “Your eyes are beautiful. I think I might be falling in love with you, my darling.” “Oh Caspian, you’re so romantic. You’re not horrible like those other cheap, nasty romance sims.” “Of course not honey-bun, I have feelings and emotions. Now, care to join me in the bedroom?”

49. And Woolly (yes, that really is her name) became Caspian’s first woohoo towards his lifetime want. And it was pretty easy – a couple of flirts, pillow fights and kisses, and she was madly in love with him! Lovely.

50. On with the main show, and I found Cody painting in the study – he’s doing this a lot. “Oh Shannon, be mine, sweet girl. Ignore my braces, and breath that smells slightly of coffee and spinach, and my love of reading 10 pages of the dictionary before I go to bed at night…” You’re really making yourself sound good. Nice painting. “It’s Shannon.” I don’t remember her wearing a tiny, bright green dress, or having huge red lips, or hands the size of… “Leave me alone, let me complete my masterpiece… Imbecile.” Nerd.

51. A typical morning for Clover. “Got up on the correct side of the bed. Check. All arms, legs, nose et cetera are still there. Check. Right, I’m ready to start my day.”

52. “A quick bath in my favourite, lucky bubble bath. Are you following me with the camera?” Pumpkin-pie, this is a legacy. It’s what I do.

53. “And then to trim the dead leaves away from the nice fresh, new leaves. And look at all those ladybirds! Come here ladybirds! You’re so pretty and you must be lucky if you’re pretty.” … Moving on.

54. Just Toulouse proving that he is indeed, a stereotypical cat.

55. Felicity and Benjamin are very much in love – they follow each other around and are always interacting – three bolt love is slightly creepy sometimes. “Honey, you’re looking lovely? You know when else you look lovely? When you’re pregnant…” You two are not having any more children. And that’s final. “Oh… please.” Nope – 5 children is more than enough.

56. “A girlfriend? He’s kissing a girl! Cody’s got a girlfriend, Cody’s got a girlfriend!” “Go away Clover, this might be only chance. Scram before I get the black cat from down the road to walk in front of you…” *runs*

57. “You’re wearing that really pretty dress again today. *snort* Want to read a book together?” “Even though you have got grilled cheese stuck between your teeth – why not? Might be fun…”

58. Meanwhile, Caspian moves onto this girl – her name is Nicole, and Cody brought her home from school (the kids ALWAYS bring friends home from school). “You’re not a romance sim, are you?” “Me? A romance sim? No – I’m a lovely…family sim. (thinking) Crap – can she see my want panel, and my want for having 2 loves at the same time?” “Oh okay. Cool.” “Hahaha, sucker…”

59. A first kiss for Cody and Shannon. I thought it was sweet. Apart from Benji and Fliss playing punch you – punch me in the background, and where Cody’s hand is going. “Erm, Cody. I’m not ready to move on to second base, so would you mind moving your hand?” “Booby…” “Cody?” “Boooooooby…”

60. It’s almost like a competition between the twins to get the girl to love you first. Caspian was pretty happy with just wolf whistling at Nicole. If he couldn’t get her, he’d just invite Vamsi round later.

61. [Later that day] “Is romantic the right way of life? Caspian is so nice with it, where as I just want lots and lots of girls… What do you think townie lady?” “Erm, kid. How am I meant to know? I just dropped by to use your new swingset. But, you know how it is kid, a romance sim does what a romance sim does.”

62. “Cody! I see you have a girlfriend now. Not quite my type, but whatever floats your boat.” “I know you Caspian, you like your blonde, skinny girls in short skirts and tight tops. You’re predictable.” “And you’re not? So, how did you get her, did you sing her a song? Mum told me once that dad proposed to her after playing a song on the piano and singing to her. Seems a bit icky to me.”

63. “I’ve painted a picture for her. Do you think she’ll like it? I’ve called it “Beautiful girl”. Shannon really is beautiful. Should I take her on a date somewhere?” “You could do, how about ice skating? Or to the bowling alley or something?”

64. “I was thinking something more classy, like going to the theatre or to see the ballet. Something a little more, well, educated.” “You know what bro, you’ve actually helped me make a decision.” “What’s that Cal?” “I am so sticking to my romancing, two-timing ways, if being a good boyfriend involves that much effort!”

65. Felicity spends most of her time in the conservatory/spare room part of the house, making flower bouquets. As soon as the kids have moved to college, Benji and Fliss are going to open an organic fruit, vegetable and flower shop (a posh way of saying Greengrocers if we’re honest). I’ve never been brilliant with businesses before, so hopefully, this one will be okay.

66. “Shannon, my sweet, I have painted this picture for you. It is of you, and it is for you. I hope this is a way of me showing my great love for you.” “That’s really sweet. Do you fancy some chewing gum before I give you a thank you kiss?”

67. “Cody and Shannon sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes lots of woohoo! Hahaha!”

68. “That’s really naughty Clover, but really really funny!” This is Callum, Andrea and Billy’s second child. He’s nowhere near as cute as their first child, Connor – possible because he got Billy’s really pale eyes, and they look quite scary on anyone…

69. “Push me higher and higher Calvin – I want to be able to reach the clouds, because then, I’ll be happy and have even more good luck! Higher!”

70. And, with my artistic picture taking (which is actually me trying to cover up that this is just bad picture taking), Calvin falls in love with Vamsi, and she is his first love. He’s pretty chuffed about this, and so is she – they’re both romance sims!

71. Finally – I don’t think I have ever been so happy to see a birthday picture! It’s birthday time for the baby of the family.

72. Even the twins’ girlfriends and a guy they brought home from school turn up to wish her a happy birthday! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Clover, happy birthday to you! Now hurry up and grow up!

73. “But I need to make a wish first… Hmmm… I wish to be taller, and to have some nice friends and to have the most luck ever!”

74. “Mine and my husbands child grew up – I remember the day we made her… Wow, Benjamin is smoking!” And I promptly sent Clover off to get a makeover.

75. And Clover is gorgeous! I am so glad they had a girl, cause she is a real beauty. She rolled popularity and has a LTW of becoming The Law, which is okay. “Can I have a cell phone? But what if people don’t like me. What if I throw parties and they don’t come?” Getting the kids through college is going to be fun…

76. “That was so not me.”

77. “Which imbecile managed to set a microwave on fire? Really? How do you manage that? I could be putting out proper house fires now…” “I didn’t know that if you mix vinegar and grilled cheese, then put it in a microwave, it makes enough heat to…set fire to a microwave. Heh, funny. I should do my calculations a bit better next time…” “Sheesh, call yourself a knowledge sim mister.”

78. All of the kids (apart from Corbin who got shipped off the university pretty much straight away) got some form of romance, so since he was there, Peter (who turned up on the bus with Calvin) is a potential love for Clover before she goes to university. They have 2 bolts.

79. I’m sorry, but then did you learn to drive? “There are no driving tests here – I turn a teen, and voila, I can drive. Sweet, huh? Perhaps I’ll be able to drive my friends around in this car. Do people like girls with cars?”

80. Another ‘artistic’ picture, this time of Clover and Peter hanging out in botanical dining. After getting their photo taken in a photo booth…

81. They went to get lunch at the bowling alley. “A toast, to a new best friend, to this date and to hopefully making some more friends when I go to college.”

82. “Would you like some of my crepes suzette? It sure is yummy. Here, let me feed you a bite.” “Clover, you’re unlike any girl I’ve ever met. Us popularity sims have to stick together.”

83. “You’re so right Pete. May I call you Pete? Have I made you blush?” “Clo, you’re wonderful. And this date, well – you could even call it a dream date!” ____________________________ On a side note, notice Don the zombie in the background. He’s from Candi’s uglacy, and he’s amazing. He walked into the bowling alley and immediately hit the bar! Made me laugh. Read Candi’s uglacy, prettacy and apocalypse challenge – they rock!

84. The date ended with some kissing, which was sweet, apart from Nicole (the girl who Calvin had been wolf whistling at) just stood and watched. “What? I’m intrigued. No one is kissing me, so I just watch other people kissing, and it makes me happy.”

85. And just like her daddy, Clover loves playing the piano. “That’s because if I sing nicely to people, and play the piano to them, perhaps it’ll be my lucky day, and they’ll all want to be my friends. Otherwise I don’t know what I’ll do. I hope making friends isn’t difficult.”

86. And Calvin, our topless player, is determined that he has two lovers at the same time, so he’s still making a move on Nicole. “Nicole, have I ever told you *thinking: what would Caspian say?* that you have nice eyes?” “Calvin, you’re too kind.”

87. “Oooo…he has chest hair.” “Sheesh, I cannot believe you want me to flirt…” Calvin – I’m sorry, but you’re a romance sim – it’s what you do! He didn’t manage to fall in love with Nicole that day. “I’ll just try again tomorrow.”

88. “Mum, I never knew you could use that to clean! I love learning, especially about cleaning. Well, and mechanical and cooking and everything!” “That’s lovely son – I know I wanted lots of kids, but wouldn’t your knowledge be put to better use at university?” “University? I want to go!” Not quite yet Cody, there’s still some things we need to do first.

89. “Billy! It’s me, your little brother. Yes? Yes that’s right, I do have five children. Yes, yes we did have to do that a lot… Anyway – that’s not why I’m calling - would you and your family like to come over to dinner today? Fantastic. Yeah, Felicity’s cooking and there’ll be fun and games. Okay, see you later Billy. Bye.” A family dinner before the remaining kids go off to uni!

90. “Hey Uncle Billy. Can I ask you a question?” “Sure kid. What is it?” “Can you teach me to dance like that? Then I could get loads of hot chicks!”

91. “Mummy, me and Clover sat here just before Clover’s birthday, and we were talking about love, cause all of her brothers have girlfriends!” “Is that right Callum?” “Yeah. But I think girls have cooties.”

92. Felicity made hamburgers for lunch and Clover sat with her aunt, uncle and cousin Callum. “At school, we were learning about space and I’ve decided that I want to be an astronaut. Wouldn’t that be cool? Mummy and daddy think it’s a bit dangerous though.” Billy and Andy smiled. “Just a little Cally. Why not choose something else? A little less dangerous perhaps?” “What do you want to do Clover?”

93. “Well, I think kissing is pretty cool.” “Cally might be a little young to talk about kissing Clover.” “Sorry, that’s what happens when you have four older brothers.”

94. “What’s everyone talking about?” Benji asked, as him and Calvin sat down at the table. “We were discussing what Callum has been learning at school.”

95. “No we weren’t! We were talking about falling in love and kissing and things like that!” Calvin laughed. “Aren’t you a little bit young to be thinking about that?” “Me and Clover talked about it before she grew up. Didn’t we Clover? Huh?” “Erm…”

96. “Anyway, Calvin, what do you want to do after you’ve finished college?” He hesitated. “Travel the world, see everything, meet people and amazingly pretty girls along the way. I want to get out there and see it all…”

97. Whilst his family were still there, Calvin invited over Nicole, and finally got a kiss from her. “Sweet girl Calvin, nice as-…” Nice assets, that’s right, isn’t it, Connor? “Erm, sure.” *Connor is Andy and Billy’s first child – I gave him pink hair because he’s a pleasure sim…

98. “Oh Calvin, will we be together forever, from this day forward? Will we go skating together, and buy ice cream, and go for walks in the park?” “Baby, I’m leaving for college today.” “What?” “Yeah, so there’s two other things I need to do…”

99. “Ow, you’re meant to be nice to your girlfriend!” “Girlfriend?” That’s Calvin’s 1 nice point coming through…

100. “Hey, I might as well fall in love with you whilst I’m at it. Thanks Nicole, it’s been great…” Callum: “Muuuuuuuuum! Calvin’s in love!”

101. “I know you have a girlfriend Cody, I saw the two of you. So don’t tease me about liking someone!” “I’m sorry Clover, please stop noogying me! You’re knocking out my precious brain cells!”

102. And then it was time for the three remaining Generation-C children to join their older brothers at Academie le Tour. Which means, it’s now time for the heir polls!
