Achievements
1. At AMEC:
a. Supervised and controlled a multi-disciplinary team to conduct FEED and
Detailed design for a multi-billion dollars oil sands project. Provided technical
support to construction site for installation, commissioning, trouble shooting and
startup of the facilities. This achievement included meeting all project
requirements, milestones, cost restrictions and time schedule.
2. At W.H.L Ltd:
a. Supervised a $2,500,000.00 food plant expansion project from start to finish on
time and with no cost over-runs
1. Overseas Projects:
a. Performed a feasibility study to evaluate addition of a steam power plant with
capacity of 1300 MW adjacent to a Petrochemical & Refinery complex. The
work was approved and included Fuel Gas & Oil provision from refinery to the
power plant. The environmental protection issues were of concerns and the

Projects Details
AMEC Americas, (EP&CM), Canada, 2008 – Present
Projects include:
Shell Albian oil Sands Debottlenecking, 2014 – Present: Senior Utilities Process Engineer. This is
a project to upgrade oil production from Shell Albian Oil Sands. Preliminary reviews were conducted.
PFD’s were prepared and updated. Utilities system capacity evaluated and heat and mass balances
completed. Project is now on hold for client review due to lower oil prices.
Kearl TSRU Solvent Pumps Upgrading To Debottleneck the TSRU Plant, 2014: Lead Process
Engineer. This was a fast track project, to do the upgrading without plant shut down
Reviewed site report on bottlenecks and come up with debottlenecking of solvent pumps, control
valves, flow meters, strainers, minimum flow lines and flow limiting restriction orifices and hydraulic
calculations for piping.
Reviewed upstream condensate drum PSVs and instrumentation and control process data sheets.
Updated PFDs and P&IDs for HAZOP and SIL review
Performed HAZOP closed out activities and issued PFDs-IFD and P&IDs-IFC
Prepared System description and Process control narratives including alarm and trip settings.
Provided construction site support to operation for commissioning and start-up of first train
Kearl Cogeneration Project, 85 MW, 2011 – 2014: Lead Process Engineer
Prepared detail design scope of work and estimated engineering man hours (MHs) required to
complete design of the Cogeneration.

project considering different operating scenarios in order to provide uninterrupted steam supply and
power generation, while continue production with minimum side effects.

Prepared/supervised sizing calculations of piping, PSVs, control valves and various vessels, pumps,
steam traps, Deaerator, steam and condensate hydraulic calculations and compiled calculation
reports.
Reviewed plant utilities including fuel gas design and supply system for steam generators. Steam
generators provide 1040 ton/hr high pressure steam for process heating and cogeneration
requirements. Reviewed chemical injection and sampling of steam and condensate system.
Designed steam conditioning system to let down high pressure steam to medium and low pressure
steam including desuperheaters for various applications throughout the plant.
