2. Take 3 router and 3 switches

3. Connect switch to router with copper straight
through cable

4. Double click on router 0

5. Click on config tab

6. Then click to the interface through which the router is
connected with the switch.
enter IP Address, check port status on

7. Double click on router 1

8. Click on config tab

9. Then click to the interface through which the router is
connected with the switch.
enter IP Address, check port status on

10. Double click on router 2

11. Click on config tab

12. Then click to the interface through which the router is
connected with the switch.
enter IP Address, check port status on

13. Connect 2 PCs with each router through copper
straight through cable

14. Rename the PCs so that they are easy to identify

15. Double Click First PC

16. Click On the Desktop Tab And Click IP
Configuration

17. Insert IP of PC but make sure it is of the same class as its
router have , Insert Default Gate Way (IP of Router)

18. Insert IP and Gateway of 2nd PC

19. Insert IP and Gateway of 3rd PC

20. Insert IP and Gateway of 4th PC

21. Insert IP and Gateway of 5th PC

22. Insert IP and Gateway of 6th PC

23. PC are configured with Router and now we have
have 3 networks

24. Connect Router 0 with Router 1 using Fiber Cable
fast ethernet 4/0 - fast ethernet 4/0

25. Connect Router 1 with Router 2 using Fiber
Cable
fast ethernet 5/0 - fast ethernet 5/0

27. Router 0 and Router 1

28. Click on the the interface through which the router 0
is connected with router 1

29. Insert the IP and check Port status

30. Click on the RIP and Enter RIP addresses of
networks connected with this router

31. Click on the the interface through which the router 1
is connected with router 0

32. Insert the IP and check Port status
IP must be same as the router 0 has in fast ethernet 4/0

33. Click on the RIP and Enter RIP addresses of
networks connected with this router

34. Router 1 and Router 2

35. Click on the the interface through which the router 1
is connected with router 2

36. Insert the IP and check Port status

37. Click on the RIP and Enter RIP address of this new
network

38. Click on the the interface through which the router 1
is connected with router 2

39. Insert the IP and check Port status
IP must be same as the router0 has in fast ethernet 5/0

40. Click on the RIP and Enter RIP addresses of
networks connected with this router

41. Open command prompt of any PC and ping
other PC

42. Another Pinging
