2. Buggery with an animal:
Sec. 377 - Whoever voluntarily has
carnal intercourse with an animal shall
be punished with imprisonment for a
term which may extend to twenty
years, and shall also be liable to fine or
to whipping.

3. Carnal intercourse against the order of nature:
Sec. 377A - Any person who has sexual
connection with another person by the
introduction of the penis into the anus or mouth
of the other person is said to commit carnal
intercourse against the order of nature.
1. The introduction of the penis into the anus whether male
Carnal or female.

2. Fellatio which is sexual activity involving oral contact with
the male genitals.
3. Section 377 D : Outrages on decency - provides for
enhanced punishment when the carnal intercourse against
the order of nature committed on other person is without
that person’s consent,
- or against the will of the other person
- or by putting the other person in fear of death
- or hurt to that person or any other person.

4. Punishment for committing carnal intercourse
against the order of nature :
Sec. 377B - Whoever voluntarily commits carnal
intercourse against the order of nature shall be
punished with imprisonment for a term which
may extend to twenty years, and shall also be
liable to whipping.

5. Sec. 377C - Committing carnal
intercourse against the order of
nature without consent, etc.
• Whoever voluntarily commits carnal
intercourse against the order of nature on
another person without the consent,
• Or against the will, of the other person, or
by putting the other person in fear of
death
• or hurt to the person or any other person,
• Shall be punished with imprisonment for a
term of not less than five years and not
more than twenty years, and shall also be
liable to whipping.

6. Sec. 377CA – Sexual connection by object.
• Any person who has sexual connection with
another person by the introduction of any
object into the vagina or anus of the other
person without the other person’s consent shall
be punished with :
• Imprisonment for a term which may extend to 20
years
• And be liable to whipping

7. What exactly
is prohibited?

8. - Oral or anal sex, acts of 'gross
indecency' in public or private.
Gross indecency defines as offending against recognized standards of
decency. There are 2 offences of gross indecency which are as follows:
• Any person who, in public or private, commits, or
Outrages on abets the commission of, or procures or attempts
to procure the commission by any person of, any
decency act of gross indecency with another person, shall
be punished with imprisonment for a term which
Sec. 377D may extend to two years.
• Any person who incites a child under
Inciting a child the age of 14 years to any act of gross
to an act of indecency with him or another person
gross indecency shall be punished with imprisonment for
a term which may extend to five years,
Sec. 377E and shall also be liable to whipping.

9. The word ‘incite’ used in Sec. 377E bring the meaning of:
- Set in motion
- Hasten
- To move to action by persuasion
- To stir up
- To arouse
- Spur on
- Stimulate
- Goad
- Animate
- Encourage, spur, urge, move.
