Ergonomic Rules for Organizing Office Work

Specific rules and regulations regarding occupational health and safety of work in front of a computer screen monitor are to be found in the Ordinance of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of 1 December 1998 on occupational health and safety of work in workstations equipped with computer screen monitor (JL No. 148, item 973). The most frequent cause of giving shocks is poor technical condition of the wiring system in the rooms of office work as well as hygienic-sanitary and social rooms, which complement offices.
