and how they harness the power of social media to promote
communication and change within the health sector.

Network about how they are using social media and what they’re
using it for, and consider what you can adapt in your organisation

Campaigns at Mumsnet about how different groups use social
media and where social media is headed.

2. Sarah Ashurst – Patient Opinion
Patient Opinion was founded in 2005 and is now the UK's leading independent non-profit
feedback platform for health services.
Patient Opinion is about honest and meaningful conversations between patients and health

As the Senior Subscriber Support Officer at Patient Opinion, Sarah has over 5 years’
experience supporting NHS organisations to engage with Patient Opinion and embed online
feedback into the fabric of the services Patient Opinion work with.

3. Rowan Davies – Mumsnet
Rowan is Head of Policy and Campaigns at Mumsnet, which is the UK's biggest website for
parents (with around 14 million visits each month). She is a member of the National Maternity
Review Panel, and runs Mumsnet's campaigns on issues like miscarriage care, ending myths
about rape, and freedom of speech on the internet.
