monitoring to improve the quality, efficiency, and

 Health Information Systems – system that captures,
stores, manages or transmits information related to the
health of individuals or the activities of organizations
that work with the health sector.
 PATIS – component of a hospital computer system which
records patient details, all admission, discharge, ward
allocation & transfer, treating clinicians and outpatient
attendance. Usually one of the first systems to be
installed in starting to „computerize” a hospital.
