This document provides an overview and syllabus for COMM 412: Communication and Social Movements, a summer course taught by Dr. Randy Lake at the University of Southern California. The course will examine the role of communication in social movements throughout history, with a focus on American movements of the 1960s and more recent movements. Assignments include article reports, a movement report, and a final exam.
