which quarter?

Widest expenditure
โข Operational IT (security, network, data management) continue to attract
investment from 2/3rds โ 4/5ths of enterprises.
โข Virtualisation of server, storage and desktop continue apace with more
than 3 in 4 enterprises continuing to invest.
Fastest growing technologies
โข Private Cloud. For two quarters, more than 40% of investments will be
by new adopters.
โข Customer mobility, especially mobile payments. For two quarters, over
50% of investments will be by new adopters.
โข Flexible working, especially the provision of tablets and mobile apps for
workers, where around half to two-thirds of investments will be by new
adopters.
โข From a lower base, new technologies such as 3D printing and context-
aware computing are seeing 60-70% of investments will be by new
adopters.
