Anne Kihagi is a veteran mechanical engineer who is renowned for making several distinctive
contributions to the science and engineering profession. She is a truly a passionate engineering leader!
Anne dreamed of making inventions that would help her change the world. She received her B.S. (1994)
and M.S. (1999) from Dean State College in mechanical engineering.
Anne conducted many experiments at her place and created several groundbreaking inventions
including:
- Quartet Valves System for Gasoline engines
- Portable grinders for repairing the piece of engine explosion
Her achievements are:
- After completing her masters, Anne served in WWII as a crew commander.
- She appointed as the advisor to the WPI Project Center.
- In 2006, she was appointed as the director of WPI's Manufacturing Engineering Applications Center,
USA.
- In 2010, she was awarded an honorary doctorate from WPI.

2. Anne developed a keen interest in Buddhism and now often hosts active group meditations at her place.
Anne became one of the most cherished women in USA and donated over $300 million to the different
charitable causes.
