 Cloud computing means that instead of all
the computer hardware and software you're using on
your desktop, or somewhere inside your
company's network, it's provided for you as a
service by another company and accessed over
the Internet, usually in a completely seamless way.
 Exactly where the hardware and software is located
and how it all works doesn't matter to you, the user—
it's just somewhere up in the nebulous "cloud" that
the Internet represents.
 When you sit at your PC and type a query into
Google.
 Using Web-based email.
 Preparing documents over the Net is a newer
example of cloud computing(Google Docs).

1. 1966-all the modern day characteristics was explained by Doughlas
Parkhill.
2. 1968-intel was introduced.
3. 1969- APRANET was introduced and in 1970 it was connected to
internet.
4. 1971-Mail services were provided.
5. 1974-Microsoft came in this field.
6. 1976-Apple computer used it.
7. 1977-Oracle Burn.
8. 1981-IBM launched and in 1982 Microsoft developed MSDOS
9. 1995-Amazon changed the era.
10. 1997-Termed as cloud computing.
11. 1998-GOOGLE
12. 2004- FACEBOOK Was Launched.
Cloud computing is typically classified in two
ways:
1.Location of the cloud computing
2.Type of services offered
Public Cloud
Private cloud
Hybrid Cloud
Community Cloud
 When talking about a cloud computing system,
it's helpful to divide it into two sections:
 The Front End
 The Back End
o They connect to each other through a network, usually
the Internet. The front end is the side the computer
user, or client, sees. The back end is the "cloud" section
of the system.
