liquid that we drink to stay alive.

temperature, water is a liquid. In freezing temperature, water is ice. In boiling

It makes up approximately 70% of our planet Earth. Most of it is found in our
ocean’s salt water.

6. How Water Is Polluted
Water is polluted mainly because chemicals are dumped in the ocean.
Storm water flows down the sewer drains.
Garbage is thrown in the ocean.
Water from the sewer is the most polluted because they contain
pathogens ( germs ).
7. Clean Water Cannot Be Accessed

700 million Indians have no access to proper toilets.
90% of china’s cities suffer water pollution.
Almost all developing countries suffer water pollution.
Many people get diseases or even die out of water
pollution.
9. How to Protect Our Water
- Don’t throw garbage in the ocean
- Don’t spill oil in the ocean
- Build barriers to protect the water from dirt
- Use purifiers!
