Every year one community in Atlantic County is chosen to receive backpacs from the Atlantic County Library Foundation as part of a project called First Grade...First Steps Start at the Library. First graders at Folsom Elementary School's received backpacks onDecember 13, 2010. First graders from the Hammonton Early Childhood Education Center received backpacks on December 17, 2010. All the kids received a book in their backpack along with some fun little toys. These are the Thank You notes the kids sent to the library.
