CALL FOR PRESENTERS
                       2011 BDPA QUARTERLY WEBINARS

BDPA WEBINARS
BDPA provides professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and students with a pathway
from “the classroom to the boardroom” through education, mentoring, networking, and
programs that enhance academic excellence, technical growth, leadership skills, and
professional development.       Currently, we are seeking dynamic, engaging, and
knowledgeable webinar presenters for the 2011 BDPA Quarterly webinars. Our goal is
to provide topics that will appeal to our members. Our expectation is that each webinar
will provide attendees with an educationally empowering experience.

Dates for the National Quarterly Program Webinars are March 2, June 1,
September 7, and December 7, 2011 (the first Wednesday of the last month in
the quarter)

Dates for the National Quarterly Career Coaching Webinars are February 2,
May 4, August 3, and November 2, 2011 (the first Wednesday of the second
month in the quarter)
The National BDPA Quarterly Webinars are presented the first Wednesday of the last
month of each quarter during 2011. The National BDPA Quarterly Career Coaching
Webinars are presented the first Wednesday of the second month of each quarter
during 2011. Both series are executed in the evening 7:00 PM EST. BDPA members are
IT professionals seeking to build IT skills, define career directions, and climb the IT
corporate ladder attend the National BDPA Quarterly Webinar. The purpose of the
National BDPA Quarterly Webinars is to support these goals by providing IT specific
workshops in leadership, professional and business development, research, project
management, communications, certification, and a host of advanced technologies that
will provide a challenging learning experience for attendees.

AUDIENCE
The primary audience consists of multiple levels of IT professionals, from entry-level
technologists to senior level managers. Entrepreneurs and educators will also be in
attendance. Content and instruction should be geared to a level that is appropriate for
the target audience.

CRITERIA
Proposals are solicited for 50-minutes presentations that are creative, dynamic, and
feature best practices in IT. That timeframe will include introductions, presentation
material, questions and answers session. Each presentation must provide a challenging
IT learning experience. Attendees should leave with specific knowledge and skills about
various aspects of the topic and how it relates to their future development.
Presentations should provide attendees with educational value and refrain from
promoting a specific business, product, or service.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS & SPECIFICATIONS

I. TOPICS

Presentations can be focused on any of the above areas of focus.


II. SUBMISSIONS

Submissions can be sent directly to Clifford Clarke, AVP of Technical, Professional, and
Executive Development of the National BDPA Member Services team at
CliffordClarke@CliffordClarke.com using “BDPA Quarterly Webinar Submission” in the
subject line.

Submitting the Webinar Abstract
Abstracts will be received year round until all quarters are filled. Abstracts should be
one (1) page in length. You must complete a separate abstract for each distinct
presentation you wish to submit. All submitters will be notified of acceptance, regret or
wait listed within a week of submission. Presenters must provide a photograph and a
bio.    Submissions, photographs, and presenter bios will retain in the databases of
BDPA and its representatives.

Submitting the Full Presentation
As part of acceptance, a full Power Point presentation will be required 10 business days
before the event.     As presenter you must have access to a stable broadband
connection, a reasonably quiet presentation location, and headset (headphones and
microphone) in which to conduct the event. Also, a speaker agreement and disclosure
form will be given must be completed.

Submit bios following these guidelines:
      - Full name, current job title and organization’s name
      - Describe your role in the organization and the products/services it provides
      - Provide highlights from your career as it relates to your current position
      - Provide key civic activities and personal interests
      - Mention awards, honors and authored publications
      - Maximum of 250 words

Submit your photo following these specifications:
      - High resolution 300 dpi JPEG file
      - High resolution press ready PDF file
      - Cropped head to shoulder in a medium close up shot

Submit company logo if permitted:
      - High resolution 300 dpi JPEG file

Also, please include your first initial with last name in the file name for any files you
submit, such as photos.

Presentations that do not meet the aforementioned requirements or
submission deadline will automatically wait listed.

III. FEES & PRESENTER BENEFITS

Although BDPA does not pay presenters an honorarium or speaker fee, we hope that
you will agree that being a presenter is a valuable to demonstrate your expertise and
help advance the profession. Additionally BDPA archives the presentation for future use
allow the present to link to this content.


IV. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

   1. All decisions regarding the selection of abstracts are made at the discretion of
      BDPA and are final with no obligation for reasons of acceptance or regret.
   2. BDPA reserves the right to replace a confirmed speaker if he or she is
      unresponsive to communication from BDPA.
   3. Presenters are responsible for their own travel and accommodations.
   4. BDPA may publish information provided in the submission form on our website,
      except personal information (i.e. telephone numbers and mailing address). Email
      addresses may be published unless otherwise specified by the speaker/presenter.
   5. By submission of your abstract proposal, you are providing BDPA with permission
      to reproduce the presentation content for conference attendee use and for use in
      BDPA publications in a content protected format (example: pdf file or printed
      copy).
