2. Bandera ISD Staff School Survey
 The Bandera ISD Staff Survey for 2009-2010 was
launched on September 21, 2009 and closed on
October 5, 2009.
 The survey contained 16 response questions and
one open-ended question.
 The survey web site received a total of 255 Visits,
197 Survey Completes, and 17 Partial Completes
 The 197 completed surveys showed an increase in
participation versus previous survey years (174 in
2005-2006, 159 in 2004-2005).

8. Ques%on #6: When I had a problem or concern, it was handled appropriately.

level, it was handled appropriately.

10. Ques%on #8: When I have concerns, the district administrators are willing to listen
and assist.

11. Ques%on #9: District administrators return my emails or ques6ons promptly.

12. Ques%on #10: The district effec6vely communicates informa6on to staff.

13. Ques%on #11: Parents, students, teachers, and administrators work together to
solve problems.

14. Ques%on #12: The students enjoy going to school on our campus.

15. Ques%on #13: My contact with other school personnel is both friendly and posi6ve.

16. Ques%on #14: I am confident that our students are safe from physical harm.

17. Ques%on #15: The school encourages staff involvement in our student’s ac6vi6es.

A total of 45 respondents provided open ended comments at the
conclusion of the survey. The comments were categorized as
follows:
• Campus Atmosphere (21) - 17 positive comments; 4 critical
comments.
• District Atmosphere (11) -11 positive comments.
• District Communications (6) - 1 positive comment; 5 critical
comments.
• Campus Communications (4) - 4 critical comments.
• Calendar (3) - 1 positive comment; 2 critical comments.
• Curriculum (2) - 1 positive comment; 1 critical comment.
• Business Office (1) - 1 critical comment.
