Our product is a brilliant solution to many people (unisex) out there who are really
busy and cannot afford to waste time on putting the shaving cream or shaving gel
before having a shave.
This product combines a shaver with shaving products in one product making it
simple and quick for people to have a shave, saving their precious time to go through
the whole process of putting the shaving product on and then having a shave. It
allows people to simply grab the all-in-one shaver and enjoy shaving like never before
by saving time and putting in less effort. Furthermore, consumers can also stop
worrying about buying and storing different shaving products as the shaver will have
it already included, instead of buying various shaving products they will only have to
buy refills of the shaving product inside the shaver.

The Packaging will be made out of 100% recycled plastic and metal so that we are
not wasting money on manufacturing new resources. This will also allow the
business to have a ethic look to the people who have concerns about the
enviroment. We want our business to have a green look towards our cusomers and
will be coming up with more and more ideas to make it envorimental friendly.
The product will come with 1 spare shaving blade and 2 aluminium pressurized foam
or gel containers. Furthermore we will provide separate blades and containers at a
low cost. We suspect that a blade will last for 3 months and a container for 2 weeks
of daily usage.
Due to the fact that our product aims mid aged both male and female, we will design
the package for each gender accordingly.

The price of our product. When it comes to a new product, price is very important. We
have to think about making profits and also think of an affordable price for our customers.
We are going to be selling our product for £4.99
We came up with this price by carrying out a market research which consist 100 clients to
help us with our pricing strategy. We asked questions like:
•At what price would you feel our product is a good deal and you have no doubts about its
quality?
•At what price would you feel our product is so expensive that it is not worth the
purchasing regardless of its good quality?
The answer we got back from our clients helped us determined the price of our product.
Gillette's Revenue was 79 billion (2009), but because we are a new business launching a
new product we will not be expecting to touch this figures within the first few years. We
will aim to get 1% of the market share (Approx 1,500,000)
Coming to figures and facts we figured out from our market research, we found out that
all the people we asked, 100 out of 100 said that they use shavers, which clearly indicates
that there is a huge market and big audience for this product. Most of the people do apply
shaving products before shaving, 85% of the people who got asked, use shaving products.
(The most that are used are shaving foam, 40 out of 100 people prefer shaving foam
We will be launching new containers in the future for consumers who prefer putting on
shaving gel and shaving cream.
5. Messam Haider
This product is great and most suitable for people (office workers) who are too
busy in life to apply shaving products on their face or body before shaving. It also
targets people who go on holidays, instead of packing all the shaving products
needed they will only need to pack the all-in-one shaver and maybe few refills.
This doesn’t only save time and effort but also increases the portability, taking less
space and allowing consumers to take it anywhere they want to due to the small
size.
Talking about gender, there will be two different shavers, one for men and one for
women made according to different requirements between male and female as
male and female require shavers for different purposes. Furthermore this product
can be very useful for campers and also normally people who want to avoid
applying products on body. There is a huge need for this kind of product in the
market as there are still people out there who are not able to apply shaving
products before having a shave.
6. Tejumade Adewale
we will be using a range of promoting skills to make sure that our product is recognized
widely. In our questionnaire we asked if the candidates listen to the radio and if so,
which one. The most popular radio station was radio one. This will allow us to get our
product known to all the listens as the can listen to the radio at work, shops, cars and
many other places. We will also promote the product online. This could be by buying
and selling it online via a e-commerce. This will also allow us to sell directly to our
customers.
We will also use special offers that will allow us to draw in the customers. This could be
like special offers including buy 2 get one free or even giving free foam within our
special packs.
We will need to sell and distribute our product at places where we will easily be able to
compete with rivals, but overall our product is very strong in order to compete with our
competitors and steal customers away from rivals. Out of the shaving product brands
the most preferred ones are Gillette, Nivea and Tesco, all three together have a
percentage of 65%, which again shows how well the product needs to be in order to
compete with these companies. 15% of people don’t put on shaving products before
shaving. These brands and companies are very well known and also very competitive
but there is no one company offering a product like this. This can make the product very
competitive and get this product a large market share from the rivals.
