2. USES

the action or when we don’t want to say who performed the action.
Example: A man was killed.
2- We use the passive voice when we want to give more
importance to the action instead of who performed the action.
Example: The book was delivered yesterday.
3. STRUCTURE
Passive voice is made with:
-Subject.
-Auxiliar verb (to be). This verb go in the same tense as the verb in
the active voice.
-Main verb in the past participle.
Let’s see some examples with a few tenses.
5. -Past Perfect Simple:
Had felt --- had been felt
-Future with will:

TRANSFORMATION
To change an active sentence into a passive sentence, we have to
follow some points. We are going to take an example.

8. First, the object of the active voice sentence is now the subject:

Passive: The book…
9. Secondly, the auxiliary verb “to be” is added, in the same tense as
the main verb in the active sentence, with the past participle form of
the main verb.
Active: Gearge Martin wrote the book.
Passive: The book was (“To be” in past simple) written…
10. Finally, the subject in active sentence changes into the complement
agent in the passive sentence, and it’s precedded by “by”.
Active: George Martin wrote the book.
Passive: The book was written by George Martin.
