1. Get Started
a. Create Your LinkedIn Account if you don't
   have one.
b. Pull down the "Companies" list and choose
   "See All"
Add a Company
Choose "Add Company" in the upper right of
 your screen:
Company Information
Fill in details about your company.

ALWAYS use address and contact information
 that is consistent with your website and other
 business listings (Facebook, Google+, Twitter
 and so on)!
Upload a Company Image
Find or create an image that is interesting and
  expresses something useful about your
  company.

Scale it to about 700 pixels wide.

Don't just upload your logo or head office.

Show people wherever possible... people like
 seeing people!
Add Designated Admins
LinkedIn company profiles now support as
  many admins as you need!

Admins get to edit your company profile and
 make updates.

Add people from your company OR people who
 can help you create an excellent, compelling
 profile! (you can drop them later)
Add Your Company Logo
Try and use a square image if possible
Company Description
Write a brief description.

Use keywords important in your industry or
 sector. Think of the categories of products or
 services you provide or how people search
 for them.

This is an other chance to add searchable
  keywords to your profile.

Post Regular Updates
This is very similar to posting on your Facebook

How to create a linked in company profile

Search Engines (Google) will rank your business and website higher 4. You create the possibility of generating leads from LinkedIn 5.   • 5. 1. Get Started a. Create Your LinkedIn Account if you don't have one. b. Pull down the "Companies" list and choose "See All"
  • 6. Add a Company Choose "Add Company" in the upper right of your screen:
  • 7. Company Information Fill in details about your company. ALWAYS use address and contact information that is consistent with your website and other business listings (Facebook, Google+, Twitter and so on)!
  • 8. Upload a Company Image Find or create an image that is interesting and expresses something useful about your company. Scale it to about 700 pixels wide. Don't just upload your logo or head office. Show people wherever possible... people like seeing people!
  • 9. Add Designated Admins LinkedIn company profiles now support as many admins as you need! Admins get to edit your company profile and make updates. Add people from your company OR people who can help you create an excellent, compelling profile! (you can drop them later)
  • 10. Add Your Company Logo Try and use a square image if possible
  • 11. Company Description Write a brief description. Use keywords important in your industry or sector. Think of the categories of products or services you provide or how people search for them.
  • 12. Company Specialties This is an other chance to add searchable keywords to your profile. Choose all that apply.
  • 13. Post Regular Updates This is very similar to posting on your Facebook or Google+ site. Make announcements, let people know what you're doing. Remember to use useful phrases in your posts so search engines pick it up.
  • 14. Post Regular Updates, cont'd ALWAYS try to add a link back to your website, or at least to another site you think people should be visiting. Like Facebook, LinkedIn updates will add an image from the linked page. This makes it interesting.
  • 15. Post Job Opportunities Your company profile lets you announce job openings. LinkedIn will help you find people by suggesting the opening to what it thinks are suitable candidates.
  • 16. Add Products or Services Your profile lets you add as many products and services as you like. Make sure you categorize the products/services and add keywords and descriptions that are both interesting and keyword-rich. Add a URL or link back to the page on your website where that product/service is
  • 17. Add Other Content and Information You can add other content like videos Add a company contact name (make sure they have a LinkedIn profile!)
