  limits

  wanted

  limits

  m-­‐teaching.....	
  so	
  I	
  did	
  part
       of	
  my	
  course	
  in	
  Adobe	
  Connect,	
  with	
  full	
  video,	
  audio	
  shared	
  board	
  etc..
       while	
  paddling	
  my	
  canoe	
  on	
  the	
  lake.	
  	
  	
  	
  The	
  students	
  were	
  aware	
  I	
  was	
  going
       to	
  try	
  something	
  like	
  this,	
  but	
  they	
  were	
  amazed,	
  and	
  that	
  for	
  many	
  of	
  
       them,                                                     Text
       drove	
  home	
  the	
  idea	
  that	
  the	
  classroom	
  concept	
  needs	
  some	
  
       revisions.....	
  ;-­‐)
       Not	
  saying	
  I	
  want	
  to	
  make	
  a	
  habit	
  of	
  this,	
  but	
  I	
  had	
  to	
  try	
  -­‐	
  and	
  IT	
  WORKED
       FLAWLESSLY!!	
  	
  Computer	
  Bluetoothed-­‐tethered	
  to	
  my	
  iPhone	
  accessing	
  3G	
  -­‐
       Bingo!	
  worked	
  like	
  a	
  charm!

TeFrom  BC??    Great,  but  I  though  you  were  on  your  iPad!    ;-­‐) anyways,  since  you  are  far  away  and  can't  hit  me.....  I  shouldn't  tell  you this  (Associate  Provost  and  all...)  but  yesterday,  to  explore  the  limits  of m-­‐learning,  I  wanted  to  explore  the  limits  of  m-­‐teaching.....  so  I  did  part of  my  course  in  Adobe  Connect,  with  full  video,  audio  shared  board  etc.. while  paddling  my  canoe  on  the  lake.        The  students  were  aware  I  was  going to  try  something  like  this,  but  they  were  amazed,  and  that  for  many  of   them, Text drove  home  the  idea  that  the  classroom  concept  needs  some   revisions.....  ;-­‐) Not  saying  I  want  to  make  a  habit  of  this,  but  I  had  to  try  -­‐  and  IT  WORKED FLAWLESSLY!!    Computer  Bluetoothed-­‐tethered  to  my  iPhone  accessing  3G  -­‐ Bingo!  worked  like  a  charm!
