When Starwood Capital closes on its multi-market portfolio purchase from Duke Realty at the end of March it will be the largest suburban office transaction in St. Louis’ history. Starwood will replace Duke as the largest office landlord in the entire market. After allocating the transaction, the St. Louis portion is 2.1 million square feet with an estimated value of $375 million. The buildings are a mix of Class A & B product with single- and multi-tenant occupancies.
