Las Perdices
Don Juan 2011
This beautiful wine comes from the family run
vineyard of Viña Las Pedices in Luján de Cuyo,
Mendoza. No other wine region in the world has
Mendoza’s unique combination of high altitude
terrain, a low humidity desert climate and natural
‘glacial snowmelt’ irrigation from the Andes.
When Don Juan Muñoz Lopez arrived in Mendoza
to grow his own wine, he was astonished at the
large amounts of partridges roaming there. As
the days passed, the partridges became Don Juan’s
constant companions and he decided to name
his winery Partridge Vineyard: Viña Las Perdices.
This wine is hand harvested and aged 18 months
on new French oak.
