BRANDT enTREE is a breakthrough technology that makes fertilizing and controlling insects and disease in trees safer, easier, economical and effective.
BRANDT enTREE applications are ready to use and connect directly to the tree. It only takes a few minutes to apply and the unique disease/pest protection formulations last all season long.
2. WHAT IS BRANDT enTREE™?
Revolutionary technology developed for advanced
tree health care
Technology developed and licensed through the
University of Cordoba (Spain)
Low Pressure Tree Injection (LPTI) system ~ 14.5 PSI
Pre-filled, ready to use bottles
Requires only a drill, ¼”drill bit and hammer
Allows trunk injection at any height (minimum 1.5
feet below lowest tree branch)
Simple application measurements: 1 bottle for every
5 inches DBH
Allows for concurrent rather than consecutive tree
treatment
Easy, convenient, effective and affordable

4. TREE VASCULAR SYSTEM
Plant vascular system provides pathway for important nutrients and water to move
from one part of plant body to another. Tree vascular tissue in the form of xylem and
phloem comprise the vessels for transport.
enTREE
5. PHLOEM
Living tissue that carries organic nutrients (photosynthate ) such as sucrose, (sugar) to
all parts of the plant where needed.
Innermost layer of the bark (derived from the Greek word meaning "bark“).
Concerned mainly with transport of soluble organic material made during
photosynthesis. This is called translocation.
enTREE
6. XYLEM
Derived from Greek word ξύλον (xylon) meaning "wood"; the best-known xylem
tissue is wood.
Transports water and soluble mineral nutrients from the roots throughout the plant.
Also used to replace water lost during transpiration and photosynthesis.
Xylem sap consists mainly of water and inorganic ions, although it can contain a
number of organic chemicals as well.
enTREE
7. TRANSPORT THROUGH THE XYLEM
Two phenomena cause xylem sap to flow:
Transpirational pull: Capillary action
Root pressure: Water pressure
potential

8. WHY TREE INJECTIONS?
Optimal for treating tree pests in hard to reach locations
Easier to treat street trees surrounded by pavement and containerized trees
More precise and accurate placement of pesticides and nutrients
Less potential for environmental contamination (run-off, drift)
Lower visible application profile and minimal potential for public exposure
Longer lasting results from injection vs. spraying
More efficient application (less product used by injection vs. spraying)
Safer for applicators: less climbing and less exposure to chemicals
enTREE
9. OPTIMUM TREE INJECTION TREATMENT
Ideal season to apply : Spring
Ideal environmental conditions : well hydrated soil with low humidity
Ideal soil temperature : > 45 degree F
Ideal ambient (air) temperature : 40 to 90 degrees F
Ideal climatic conditions: sunny with slight breeze
Ideal time of day to apply: early morning
Ideal uptake : healthy , non-stressed trees
enTREE
10. WHY USE BRANDT enTREE™?
NO costly machines or equipment needed
NO high pressure, forced delivery
NO product wastage
NO direct contact with product solutions by applicators
NO complicated mixing of products required
Easy to calculate usage
enTREE
11. WHY IS BRANDT enTREE™ EFFECTIVE?
Homogeneous distribution - dosage is the same at each injection point and
absorption rate corresponds to vascular flow speed.
Full and Efficient delivery – absorbed by tree’s natural vascular system and product
reaches a greater percentage of living tissue though out the tree.
Higher volume at lower concentration – non-damaging to plant tissues and allows for
quick natural absorption using low pressure injection (current high pressure injection
methods of low volume at high concentrations risk tree injury and tissue damage).
enTREE
12. HOW DOES BRANDT enTREE™ WORK?
Treats trees from inside, gently dispersing nutrients and insect/disease formulations
into tree’s vascular system.
Pressure in bottle is ~14.5 psi (1.75 kPA) which is considered optimal pressure for
overcoming potential negative tree pressure.
One bottle (250 ml) will treat a 5 inch tree trunk diameter (DBH).
Treatment time is dependent on rate of tree transpiration due to physiological and
environmental conditions (i.e. drought, waterlogging, etc.). Type of tree will also
impact absorption rate. Most injection applications are complete within 10 minutes
to 1 day.

13. WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NECESSARY WITH enTREE ™?
Electric drill with ¼ inch fast spiral drill bit
Rubber mallet
Plastic connectors (included with bottles)
Pre-filled, ready to use 250 ml bottles
with select tree protection products and
nutrients
