We covered a lot of great information AT THIS SEMINAR—including talk about continuous improvement, embracing technology, improving service levels, etc. Your question, of course, now is “What do I do with it?” So I want to offer a few ideas regarding how people who are committed to positive change and personal growth make the deliberate choice—a proactive, thoughtful decision– to improve first and foremost themselves. This is accomplished by focusing on what you do control and influence (vs. what you do not control). As you will see, another critical component to personal growth is self awareness, including a fundamental understanding that your personal perspective can always be enhanced by a broader view. We will also touch on the importance of trust and trustworthiness and how that is reflected in your daily communications. The world today is obsessed with“transactional communication” and how to improve it with efficient technologies regarding web systems, clouds, download speeds, online social networks, etc. But what of your own personal communications strategy and abilities? Finally, we will touch on the value of giving yourself the time required to focus proactively on self improvement.
