The document proposes a methodology called Mobile Process Recognition (MPR) to identify mobile business processes in complex information systems. The MPR methodology involves: 1) Decomposing processes into elementary activities and determining responsible actors. 2) Mapping activities to a 2x2 matrix based on actor mobility and location stability to categorize activities as fully mobile, partially mobile, etc. 3) Interpreting activity categories and creating a business process model using BPMN notation, identifying mobile process components. The methodology was demonstrated on a case study of a geodesic survey process.
