2. new inspiration
-The use of a different
range of lightings to create
a creepy and mysterious
effect.
-Also using a basement
as a setting location will
also be taken into account
for our introduction scene
-The use speed ramp for
certain shots will be
applied towards shots of
Liam and his blood
dripping
-Also the use of time lapse
will be taken into account
when we go to shoot shots
of the moon/clouds.
-The use of pictures of
characters and applying
negative filter effects
creates a flickery and
flashy shot we want to
incorporate
-Burning of the pictures
and having close up shots
of the flame and smoke.
And possibly reversing
shot to enhance a symbolic
OTS technique.
3. ideas
• Now that we have completed our first and second draft, we have a
clearer understanding prior to getting feedback, of what we can
improve for our OTS.
• Our original idea was to fast forward shots of the individual
characters being effected by the ouija board. However we were short
with what we could film for those individual characters and feedback
suggested that it was too confusing.
• Now once completing our second draft, we are heading towards a
different direction with regards focusing the majority of the shots on
the ouija board, using a large range of different shots whilst editing
flickering images of the characters being possessed in different ways.
• Effects and editing skills are inspired by the OTS as shown in the
previous slide, with a mixture of time lapse, reverse shot, filters,
speed ramp and cutting of different shots to create a flashing and
flickering effect.
