CAVE (Community Action Volunteers in Education) is a program at CSU Chico that has been operating since 1966. It places volunteers in over 15 community programs related to kids, community connection, and weekend immersion experiences. Volunteering with CAVE provides students experience applying their education, learning important skills, feeling good about giving back, meeting new friends, and earning university credit while creating positive change in the community.
