potencialmente

aumentar a imunidade.
No entanto, a
imuno-comprometidos.
erythermatus lupus, artrite e fibromialgia.

One of the most important benefits of human growth hormone is its
ability to strengthen the immune system. Evidence suggests that the use
of GH replacement therapy may decrease the rate of infections, aiding
recovery from chronic disease, improves allergic conditions and helps limit
the autoimmune problems such as arthritis, fibromyalgia and lupus. The
human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) which seems to indicate a sustained
5. drop in linear growth velocity can be used as a marker of the severity of
these underlying conditions, and GH is considered one of the best options
for improving immunity and, obviously, to reduce the risk development of
malignant diseases and accelerate wound healing.
Clinical evidence to support that GH enhances immunity
In the most cited study by Dr. Rudman, 1998, published in the New
England Journal of Medicine; it was found that GH therapy given for a
period of six months resulted in a significant improvement of the immune
system. In another study conducted by French and colleagues, GH
released by somatotrophs of the pituitary cells were implanted in older
rodents. With specific reference to the immune system, growth hormone-
GH was shown to be potentially beneficial. The results suggest that
hematopoietic cells in the bone marrow to increase to similar levels of
younger rodents. Likewise, other based on animals and clinical trials " in
vitro " confirms the role of growth hormone GH-enhancing immunity.
However , according to the available evidence, the role of HGH in
increasing immunity in humans is still ambiguous.
GH stimulates the immune system
One of the main functions of the human growth hormone HGH is to
promote cell growth and multiplication. GH stimulates the B lymphocytes
and T cell proliferation and accelerates the formation of immunoglobulin.
Moreover, GH increases maturation of myeloid progenitor cells and
thereby modulates the cytokine response. This is one of the reasons why
GH therapy is approved by the Food and Drug Administration for patients
suffering from HIV AIDS.
6. In a patient with AIDS, GH increases the immune mechanisms, by
promoting specific T cell response to HIV.
The 14th International AIDS Conference in Spain, evidence of which was
presented by researchers from Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals.
According to the study, GH
promotes T-cell maturation and
differentiation in the thymus, in
which white blood cells develop
their antigenic capacity. In this
study, it was found that the
administration of GH then for
about 12 weeks , there was a
significant increase in CD4 and
CD8 (CD8 and CD4 are protein
markers of T cells), which entails
increased activity of thymus.
These cells are critical for
immune reconstruction. It was
observed that the response of CD4 remained in HIV patients continued
treatment with GH for about 24 weeks.
Benefits of GH to boost the immune system
There is ample evidence that GH accelerates immune response in patients
with HIV-AIDS or other immune response disability. However, the same
deficiency has not been clinically associated with the immuno-
compromised condition. This is one of the reasons why the FDA approved
the use of GH therapy to treat patients suffering from HIV and other
immune deficiencies. GH plays a crucial role in improving the immune
system's ability to fight infections by pathogenic agents and the elderly,
who are susceptible to a number of pathogens, microbes and other
diseases. Furthermore, as GH stimulates the synthesis of proteins plays a
7. key role in the construction of the antibodies that respond to a variety of
antigens. GH therapy is highly effective in treating chronic diseases such as
lupus erythermatus, arthritis and fibromyalgia.
