What is an   An IP - a short programme of study which
             brings together students and teaching staff
 IP???
             from higher education institutions of at least
             three participating countries.
ERASMUS INTENSIVE PROGRAMME
             (IP)
             Some important features of an IP:
              - One coordinating institution and at least 2

What is an      partners in order to be eligible;
              - An IP can be a one-off activity or repeated
 IP???
                over a limited number of years – max 3
                consecutive years;
              - Location of the IP activities – any of the
                partner countries;
              - Duration of an IP – at least 10 continuous
                full working days.

Sustainability of Cruise Tourism
               The aim of the IP project -– to improve the professional
               skills and competences of              the students of
               Business, Tourism and Logistics-related study programmes
               on the implementation and development of the principles
               of sustainable cruise tourism within a European context.
ERASMUS IP
               The objectives
                 - to equip the students with the theoretical knowledge
  2011 /2012
  2012/2013       on tourism sustainability;
                 - to improve the students’ skills on the planning and
                  image formation of sustainable cruise tourism;
                 - to improve the logistic competences of the students
                  with regard to cruise tourism;
                 - to make the students acquainted with the best practice
                  of heritage tourism and rational usage of resources;
                 - to make the students recognise core cruise tourism
                  products.
