• DO "FANGIRLING" HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH SOME MENTAL ILLNESS?
• IS IT CORRECT TO CALL THEM CRAZY?
4. HYPOTHESIS
Now days when someone says “fangirl” or “fangirling” the first word that
comes to their minds is “obsession”, that as most of them could be taken to
extreme levels such as: suicide, depression, social anxiety, isolation, or less
harmful but worrying: fantasying (confusing reality with fiction, daydreaming,
etc). those are things make people change the word “obsession” for “mental
disorder”, which shows that this has been taken too far.
the objective of this research/presentation is to let people see that the
“fangirls” don’t have a kind of mental illness, they do not live in their own
world, they are not aliens and they do not only understand each other just
because no one wants to understand them.
5. It is a well-known fact that “fangirling” and the internet go
hand in hand, as how could someone “fangirl” if they do not
have anyone to do it with or enough information to have a
well-rounded opinion?

Message came with image of dog being pinned to the floor by
its throat
When band did not respond, she posted picture of 'her with
dead dog'
Other images reportedly from her site show animals in
blenders and a small child tied up with similar threats to kill
them
1D fans brand her a 'psycho' but it was revealed to be a hoax
EXTREME CASES

of suicide, self-harming,
eating disorders or isolation.
9. EXTERNAL OPINION
The best way to recognize a person suffering
from this disease must do the following:
You dress up as a celebrity, then you go to a
place where there are many girls (teens) and
they'll throw themselves at you until they
realize it's a costume and kick/ hit you for it.
This doesn't have a cure, and if so, I don't know
about it.
10. What happens in the brain is that a
hormone called dopamine se emits
and produces joyful and happiness
sensations; shivers, goosebumps, lots
of pleasure and screams. The girls are
not crazy, they are just exited.
The truth is, our brains are
actually pretty dumb, and any
sudden, strong emotion – from
happiness to relief to stress –
can elicit these vulnerable
physical reactions.
Scientific name for Fangirl
