within the facilities sector, which will enable me to utilise and develop my current skills that I have gained over the past

 Staff Permanent: 9 Direct Reports – Fleet/H&S/Building Management/Admin/Reception/Postroom
 Contract Staff: 34 Personnel - Security/Cleaning/Maintenance/Catering/Landscaping/Pest Control
 Budgetary control: Prepare and manage budgets of approx. £10m.
 Contract Management: Manage contractors to ensure compliance with Samsung’s standards within
budget restrictions.
 SLA's, KPI's: Manage in line with agreed processes.
 Project Management: All Projects.
 Fit Out/Refurbishment Management. Small Churn to Full Refurb/New Build.
 Health & Safety: DSE, Compliance, Control of Contractors, Dealing with Local Authorities.
 Fleet Car Management: A Total of 460 company lease cars

Relocation: 120 Staff to New Premises, A Full Delaps and Fit Out Including M&E to the Value of £1.5m

Reports to the Facilities Manager
Key Accountabilities
 Management of all Operational FM at head office to provides a quality service in a highly demanding
environment.
 Budgetary control (£1.4m). Prepare and manage budgets ensuring expenditure is planned and controlled by
way of SAP.
 Contract Management. Manage contractors to ensure compliance with Linde's standards within budget
restrictions.
 Ensure that all staff have all training records up to date, and yearly/ 6 monthly appraisals carried out.
 Ensure Cleaning/Catering/Estates SLA's, KPI's are managed and up to date.
 Manage, 8 direct reports, (postroom assistants, desktop publishing, reprographics operators, Stationery
controller, telephonists and receptionists).
 Contract staff (landscaping, office cleaners, window cleaners, catering, security). Ensure calibre and level of
staffing required to attain objectives, whilst ensuring development of team members and rewarding them in
direct proportion to performance and achievement.
 Key member of procurement decision-making team to ensure purchase of required products and services
based on appropriate price structuring - Contracts include.
Projects:
Lead BIM (Business Implementation Manager) for the Corporate Centre Building on changing from our current
network work system to Citrix.
Liaise with Christies to remove all artwork current value 1.5million from site and deliver to Germany
To assist in the closure of the Windlesham Headquarters
To ensure the site is secure by way of high security fencing, using contractors/in house staff
Controlling all archives on site/off site.
Environmental issues, ensure that all office waste is disposed of and recycled where appropriate.
All AV equipment is updated included all video conferencing facilities.
SUPPORT SERVICES SUPERVISOR Jun 1998- 2001
Reported to the Support Services Manager
General Supervisory
 Responsibility for provision of general services in the area of contract cleaning, porterage, office moves, plants, general in
house maintenance and good housekeeping.
 Responsibility to ensure all goods received at Windlesham. Checking all invoices and relevant documentation against
delivery notes etc.
 Monitoring Artwork and collection and delivery of Archives on/off site. To assist with Artwork display every 3 months in
reception as directed by Corporate Relation
Desktop Publishing Dec 1995-1998
 Reported to the Support Services Supervisor
To manipulate images; create publications & presentations using software packages such as Photoshop, PageMaker, Power
Point, Word, Excel, FrontPage, CAD and Flash. To scan documents electronically; convert graphics files to different formats
& create CD's, also video editing via pc.
Stationery Controller Jun 1991- 1995
Reported to the Support Services Supervisor

 Responsible for ordering stationery and other consumable items for Group Headquarters and special logo printed
materials. Liaison with the various representatives from specialist companies, ensuring that stocks are kept to a minimum,
stock room would hold up to £10k, total budget of £100k+. Create and check all proofs ensuring that the highest levels are
maintained.
Reprographics Operator Jun 1986-1991
Reported to the Support Services Supervisor
 Copiers: To operate sophisticated colour and black n white copiers. A fiery controller is used with these
machines which enable us to produce high quality colour images and presentations, also large colour plan
printers. Xerox, Canon, Ricoh.
 Finishing Equipment: A list of binding equipment is used such as plastic comb bindings, wire-bind, laminating,
and heat binding's machines. Guillotines and large format drills.
General Facilities Assistant Jan 1986- 1986
Report to the Accommodations Supervisor.
 Deliveries: Dealing with goods inwards;. Check thoroughly and sign for deliveries ensuring these are
dispatched to the correct department.
 Conference Rooms: Set up conference rooms with presentation equipment i.e. projectors, pc's etc. and
making sure that all machinery is checked and in good working order.
 Recycling: Maintenance of environmental procedures for re-cycling materials from around the building.
 Office and Safety Checks: Replenishments for all toilets/water machines around the building ensuring these
are of a high standard and reporting any health and safety issues to facilities admin.
