1. The Masthead is very feminine as the Magazine is for females, the colour is white with pink hearts, the white was needed as the background was Black and white is a clean yet sophisticated colour. The main image has to be very striking and i want it to have a connection with the reader as though the model is inviting them to read it. A code and convention of a magazine is that everything is mainly on the left hand side so I followed this convention when doing my college magazine. The fonts are very important to my magazine as my inspiration is Elle. I have some words in bold, some in colour others in italics, this makes the writing more fun and stands out a lot more.
