Bermuda Getting Involved in Vacation Planning
The New Program Press Conference will be in New York City
Bermuda stop, you do not need the Bahamas, but come on pretty mamas. There has never
been a better to visit Bermuda since the introduction of the SO MUCH MORE by the Bermuda Visitors Bureau.
SO MUCH MORE is a program aimed at potential visitors to Bermuda from the New York region which offers
exclusive access to some of Bermuda’s most popular tourism spots.
SO MUCH MORE allows visitors to custom design their vacation through a number of categories;
lodging, entertainment, culture, relaxation, and adventure. Within each category are attractions that have been
preapproved by the Bermuda Visitors Bureau and have all received Pink Status.
Named after the famous pink beaches of Bermuda, Pink Status is only award to tourism spots which are
considered on par with the Bermuda Visitors Bureau’s standards of excellence. The standards of excellence
measure uniqueness, quality, fun, popularity, financial value, and safety. This program is one of the first new
developments from the Hon. Wayne L. Furbert, JP, MP,therecently appointed Bermuda Minister of Business.
“Bermuda is teeming with possibility for tourists. However that is sometimes the problem. People feel
overwhelm and confused with choice. This often prevents them from trying new things or even coming to

The Bermuda Visitors Bureau believes that by getting involved in the planning process of a vacation they can

its own spot out the Bureaus’ website, http://www.gotobermuda.com/ , after the launching press conference on
December 20, 2012 at the El Museo del Barrio in New York City.
