BACKDROP Observes the use of mobile technology in field trip settings Focus is upon the social construction of knowledge and mediations with the natural world that the mobile technology may or may not influence Analysis suggests that the students are equally, if not more influential especially upon the technology The way in which they appropriate the technology, is seemingly affected by perceived ownership, Ownership may be a key consideration when designing for learning with technology.
