1. Hi, CAFR Present
First and foremost this is an intentionally atypical cover letter and resume. Let
me introduce myself. I am Clinton Angel Forrest Rapp, CAFR for short
(pronounced Safer) because it is the safe-way to be; yep, that's me! I love to
joke, but I also love to be serious; and, I know when to be aggressive and when
to be soft. Timing is everything. I love people. I suppose that is the main reason
why I have been in the service industry for so long. I love to serve, just as Jesus
did when he walked the Earth. He came to serve. I do love Jesus. He was and is
the quintessential of a "centered" person; the perfect state - body, mind, and
spirit. He had perfect DNA for His time period. He said we will do greater
things than He did even. Soon He will return when His DNA is perfect again for
this current system of things to bring about the even more perfect system of
things. I say His because everyone's DNA is made of the same "stuff". The
"stuff" are arranged in infinite yet finite combinations to make up a unique soul.
So His DNA and Our DNA are essentially the same but the "stuff" is constantly
being arranged in ever so amazingly different ways until that "sweet-spot" is
found. As time goes on the complexity increases, and on that note this is the
perfect time to end on that for the moment; however, if we like each other and
I become apart of your team this is just one of many interests you can look
forward to from me, on our own time and not the company's, of couse! Haha,
either way I am a very respectful person. I dislike destructive conflicts, but I do
enjoy constructive ones. I love helping to solve complex problems.
!
With that, I would like to share now a time that I am proud of while I was at
Racine's Restaurant in Denver, CO. The service manager, Michael Gray, would
have to do the scheduling of 60+ servers every week by hand! This, as you can
probably imagine, was very time consuming. Now, implementing a significant
change with private owners of 17 plus years is challenging. Especially when
their motto is "If it ain't broken, don't fix it." So, it was no easy task trying to get
the momentum built-up enough for a complete over-haul of their current way
of scheduling to break down the barrier. The change involved numerous
conversations with the owners, managers, and staff. To make a long story short
and in keeping with one page, I was able to sale HotSchedules to the owners.
!
Every employee at Racine's now benefits greatly from the implementation of
the new scheduling system thanks to some courage, hard-work, and
persistence. Thank you for your time and I hope to see you soon!
Cheers and Love
