• Contributes 9% of GDP
• 45% of manufacturing output
• 40% of total value of exports
• Over 100 million employment
• 95% of total industrial units
• A product range of 6000 products across the spectrum
• 32% in Manufacturing & 68% in Services Sector
• Recorded constant growth of over 10% (19% in 2011 – 12)
