Innovations in Surface and Seal Profile Technology Improves Performance
Hydratech Industries trusts only the most innovative and
experienced surface technology and sealing solution
providers for each cylinder that we design and produce.
It is crucial to protect the key components to reduce
maintenance, extend product life, improve efficiency
and performance.
Laser cladding with nickel and cobalt based alloys like
Ultimet®
and Inconel®
creates a protective, virtually
impenetrable weld overlay shielding the rod from salt
water corrosion.
The interaction between the rod finish and seal package is
essential. That is why we tightly control the surface finish,
straightness and concentricity to ensure maximum seal life.
High performance engineered seal solutions are developed
with polymer technology and optimal fit to seal and protect
the cylinder from friction and contamination. Double
and triple protection are available with redundancy at all
critical areas for optimum sealing for motion compensation
applications. Additional seals are in place to protect
primary dynamic seals from dirt and debris providing extra
fortification, maximizing seal life, preventing down-time and
costly repairs.

low–friction Teflon based, high integrity solutions that provide
extrusion resistance and good wear layer properties for the
