Currently self employed and assisting with a personal injury practice in Dallas,
Texas.
1996 to May 2014: Law Office of George A. Pelletier (retired) and Law Office of
Jay J Murray
Litigation paralegal in a plaintiff’s personal injury practice; handling personal
injury cases from initial client interview to settlement; preparation of demands, pleadings,
answering and preparing discovery, acquiring medical records, preparing medical
chronologies, research, scheduling, maintaining files and calendar, preparation for trial
and trial experience. Heavy contact with insurance companies, medical providers, clients
and court personnel. Sat in on depositions and attended mediation with the attorney and
client. Other duties include word processing, background checks, collection, family,
probate, corporate and real estate matters. Responsibilities have also included office
management, accounting and property management of several rental properties.

secretarial duties along with attending 341 meetings.

Part-time student and employed part-time with the corporate office of Coldwell
Banker in the Fannie Mae section. Duties included accounts payable of Coldwell
Banker’s Fannie Mae listings and heavy contact with agents.
