To Whom it May Concern;
I am pleased to be writing a letter of recommendation for Danelle. She worked at
Sequoia as a Customer Support Specialist from July 2014, until January 2016.
Her being laid off had nothing to do with her performance. Her position was
eliminated, and there were no other available positions within company allowing
us to retain her.
All Sequoia employees work from their homes. It takes a very special type of
person to thrive in this atmosphere. Danelle is one of those people. She is self-
motivated, dedicated, and intent on solving the problems that face her daily.
While her official work hours were 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, it was not unusual to
receive emails from her at 4:30 or 5:00 asking about a specific issue.
What I think I like best about Danelle is her “can do” nature. When faced with a
task she was unfamiliar with, she was always eager to learn what needed to be
done to complete the job at hand.
It was a pleasure having Danelle as a co-worker, and if the opportunity presented
itself, I would gladly work with her again.
Sincerely,
Mitchell Schwartz

To Whom it May Concern,
I would like to offer a whole-hearted recommendation of Danelle Duerr, based on the two
years she worked with my company, Sequoia IMS. As her manager, I oversaw her daily
tasks and workflow, conducted regular review of her performance, and regularly
assigned her to high level projects. Based on this two-year relationship, I would
recommend her as a reliable, flexible, and creative employee, especially with a focus in
web development, technical support, and customer service.
Danelle especially excelled in her ability to demonstrate command and calm in any
situation. As we provide support to customers that are notoriously impatient and difficult
to work with when it comes to technology, it has always been imperative that our support
hires demonstrate exemplary patience and an ability to overcome surface hostility in
order to turn any engagement into a pleasant customer experience. Danelle was able to
do all this, and as her manager I was quite comfortable passing off a large amount of
regular, fast-paced, high-stress work to her, confident that she would be able to handle
our department with finesse and ownership.
Additionally, she was highly flexible in her position and easily perceived ways to mold
and modify her workflow and our applications to improve her response times and
problem solving. Her demeanor made working with her an absolute pleasure and I am
confident that she will bring a sense of ease to any work environment she encounters.
I would be more than happy to answer any other questions about Danelle’s performance
and abilities at the phone or email below.
Sincerely,
Aaron Anderson
