Summary
I leverage soft skills in talent management and mentoring for overall business process
improvement. I believe in leadership based on principles, character, and a personal
commitment to objectives, responsibilities and accountability.
I have focused my engineering expertise in the development of in-line multiphase
flowmeters (MPFM) with ten years of industrial experience in flow measurement.
I lead a global business unit (GBU) product team. The team is responsible for product
development and high-level technical product support for regional teams in charge of
direct business development, sales, and field operations functions. I mentor and
empower my reports as direct liaisons between project engineers and engineering,
certification, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and other GBU technical resources.
I am ready to take on a broader challenge with increased strategic business
perspective.

Employment Experience
Product Line Manager 03/2011 – Present
Weatherford International Ltd., Kingwood, TX
 Instrumental role in implementing the global commercialization and growth
strategy, directly reporting to Global Flow Measurement Program Manager.
 High-Level Management of R&D projects. From creation of project tender,
definition of functional requirement specifications, in-house and fielding
testing, leading up to new commercial product/feature release.
 Management and mentoring of direct reports empowered to independently lead
R&D projects and regional support functions.
 Mentored reports in expanding the functional envelope of our instrumentation
with a higher process temperature limit that opened a large portion of the
market along with a 10 to 1 improvement in signal to noise ratio.
 Teamed -up with software division to customize in-house fluid property
calculations (PVT) software as a standalone customized tool for field
deployment of MPFMs.

Flow Engineer 11/2006 – 03/2011
Weatherford International Ltd., Kingwood, TX
 Focused in the technical development of in-line multiphase flowmeter since
2006.
 Fundamental design, sizing, software development as well as flow-loop and
field testing/calibration of in-line multiphase flow meters and wet gas meters.
 Led initial commercialization and hands-on field deployment of the product
line since 2009 until 2012 under direct supervision of former PLM.
R&D Fluid Mechanics Engineer 6/2005 – 11/2006
Agar Corporation Inc., Houston, TX
 Mechanical design and algorithm development of partial separation multiphase
metering system. Led initial flow loop testing of prototype at in house and
third party flow facilities.
 Took personal initiative to develop a flow regime detection system leveraging
self-training on principles of neural network systems and using commercial
software as the development platform.
 Designed, built, and tested a prototype for inverse Venturi device. Correlated
its multiphase for several flow regimes as detected by the neural network
system.
