Chosen Genre:
              
 Murder Mystery
Characters & Roles
              
 Me - Camerawork, editor, director, lighting, sound
and I’ll also be a victim
 Sam Daniels - Detective
 Vini Babinski - Detective
 Will Foster - Assistant Detective
 Sam Rushmer - Victim
 Ronnie Clark - Victim
 Joshua-Russell May- Suspect
Narrative
                   
 Many men who are professionals in attempting the
impossible, Psychics for instance, have died in the
most suspicious of cases. They have been said to be
in many places at once when they died. It's the
detective's job to get to the bottom of the case.
Characters that will
          feature
             
 2 detectives to get to the bottom of the case. 1
assistant Detective whom will outline the problem. 3
victims depending on my resources. 1 suspect to
help the narrative have a solution.
Costumes and props
            
 2 detective suits (smart clothes, shirt and tie). This is
too make them look realistic. And suspects will just
be wearing casual but blood-stained clothes. This is
to show that the murders that have happened. I will
also be using some simple police props to make the
film like realistic. I will also need some whiteboard
and will need to conjure up some evidence to make
  the scene look realistic.
Setting
                      
 I will use a forest to show that the murders had no
witnesses to the case as a forest at midnight is a very
deserted space. I will use an office to show the police
looking through evidence. A Police Interview room
to show an interragtion of a suspect. I will use a
house to show the police raiding the suspects house
  to round off my trailer.
Effects
                       
 I will use titles in my production to communicate
certain information to the audience so they know
what the film is called and when it's released. I'll also
add in certain sound effects to make things more
dramatic to draw in and capture the audience. I will
also use a lot of fade to blacks to add to suspense.
Sound
                      
 I will use a mellow, eerie soundtrack to give the
production sound dramatic and draw in the
audience. I will also being using dialogue to explain
the problem in the film and gives effects to the
  actions to solve the resolution.
Budget
                      
 As this is a school production, I will not need to fork
out for equipment as the school will provide us with
the necessary equipment e.g. Camera's. I will need to
pay for some of the props myself e.g. Police crime
scene tape. I will have a budget in the region of
  £20/30.
Information on
      permission needed
              
 I will need to get permission for my
soundtrack, which is yet to be finalised. I will also
need permission to film in certain places e.g Police
station as I wouldn't like to be on the wrong side of
the law. I also need permission from my actors to
allow me to publish footage of them.
Summary of the style
           
 I will try and make my production in the style of the
movie se7en. New Line Cinema make this
production and have made lots of similar films of
this genre. I will try and get their style across in my
  films.
How will it appeal to your
   target audience?
                          
 It will appeal to my target audience as I will not give
too much away to the mystery involved, leaving
them wanting more and questioning how the
mystery will be solved. It may look that it'll be hard
to produce a film of this quality & genre, but I
believe with the resources I already have and can get
pre-production, I'm confident I can pull this off.
