formulated the special theory
of matriarchy was the Swiss
Johann Jakob Bachofen ethnologist's
work, "The mother law" (1861),which identifies
the title with the word feminism and
underlines the superiority of women over
men, the family and society, and the
maternal hereditary line.

4.  The term refers to a “gynaikokratiki” form of society, in
which women play a crucial role. The woman is the leader of
the genus and family. In the matriarchal society,
the family name, racial affinity, property and all other rights
are transferred from mother to children, while the right of
inheritance belongs only to girls. The first who addressed
the issue of matriarchy was J. Bachofen (1861), who
studied the “propatriarchikous ”cultures and found the
superiority of women over men both in family and
society. This was followed by Lewis H. Morgan (Ancient
Society, 1877), and the Friedrich Engels (The Origin of the
Family, Private Property and the State, 1884), who
argued that the birth of inequality coincides with the
destruction of matriarchy and the imposition of a
patriarchal organization society.

5.  The feminists only
used three archaeological findings and input
from myths about the female deities in
ancient Greece, in order to prove the existence
of matriarchal societies, often referred to as
“utopias matriarchy”.
 In general, most feminist behavior shows
that they do not understand the matriarchy to be
the opposite of patriarchy, where women
hold the supremacy, but as a different set
of alternative institutions and values ​that have
been designed in such a way as to protect and
enhance the relationships between the mother-
infant and male-female.
