Student Workers Responsibilities
IT DepartmentSupportHelpStudentworkersare responsible forthe smoothrunningof the computer
labs.Othertasksmay be askedof youinadditiontoyour dutiesyouare to take those dutiesjustas
serious.AlthoughthisisaStudentWorkerpositionand youare able todo homeworkyoustill have
responsibilities. If forany reasona studentisunruly,loudorpertainsa threatto youor other student
call CampusPolice. If youneedsuppliessuchas;printerpaper,ink,staples,etc.contactyoursupervisor
of thatlab.
Monitor
 Make sure studentsare not bringinginfoodorbeverages;beveragesmustbe inan approved
container.
o FOOD MUST BE putaway, disposedof,orconsumedbystudent(outside of labor
adjacentclassrooms)
 NO DISPOSABLE CUPS such as; McDonald’s,Meg’sDailyGrind,Starbucks,sodacans, etc.
o Disposable cupsmustbe putin designatedareaordisposedof bystudent.
 OnlyBottlesorcups withtopsthat will preventspillage if droppedorknockedover.

o Change inkcartridges
 Mark the oldcartridge box “OLD” or “USED”
 SC take it to InformationDesk
