Millaiset asiat ohjaavat elämäntapojemme kehitystä lähivuosikymmeninä? Miten elämäntapojen muutos ohjaa muuta yhteiskunnallista muutosta? Millaista olisi elämä yhteiskunnassa, jossa ilmastonmuutoksen uhka on torjuttu? Esitys perustuu Spread Sustainable Lifestyles 2050 -hankkeen tuloksiin. Se esittelee neljä erilaista skenaarioita kestävistä elämäntavoista. Ydinviestinä on, että kestävän yhteiskunnan malleja on monia ja että elämäntavat luultavasti pikemminkin moninaistuvat kuin yhdenmukaistuvat energian ja luonnonvarojen niukentuessa.
